Yes, great celebrations were had, if that’s the right word, from the contemplative (preparations through Lent and Maundy Thursday) through to the solemn Good Friday service, including our annual procession around Main Street bearing a wooden cross. See in gallery below. A viewing of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ, Superstar, on the Saturday night, after soup and rolls and hot cross buns. Then the celebration (indeed, because He is risen!) on Easter morning with a packed service (more than seventy), thoughtful contributions from Sharon Marr and Jackie Francis, and plenty of gusto singing. Memorable times.
